The annual fall fund drive has arrived! From October 10 - November 4 we'll aim to raise $15,000 to fund most of the programs the PTA presents this year. Please take this opportunity to support your students and help them get set up and excited to make some extra fun activities happen at school!

Encourage your student to participate in spirit days throughout the fundraiser, including:

Each student will be sent home with a packet that provides information on how to set up their personalized 99Pledges page that students can forward to friends and family for donations. Alternatively, students can use the paper form below to record their cash or check donations.

PGE needs your help to help its students!
PGE is ready to join the Student Support Network and needs help raising the necessary startup funds of $1,800 ($200 has already been raised). The Network matches these funds, which will be used to set up the “Panda Pantry”– a location in the school where staff take students in need for food, clothing, school supplies and personal care items, and make the first purchases of these items as necessary. Can you help? Any amount would be greatly appreciated!
Donate at https://www.studentsupportnetwork.org/donations-2/ choose the tax-deductible donation amount and be sure to choose “Pine Grove Elementary” from the drop down menu. Your support will help establish a legacy of helping kids in need in your own community!
The Panda Pantry is a joint project of the PTA and school staff, under the supervision of the Student Support Network and will serve all PGE students, including 180 students qualifying for Free Meals (30% of all students), 80 students who also qualify for SNAP benefits, and 10 students who are identified as homeless.

This is the PTA’S biggest fundraiser so please show your PANDA POWER by helping to raise money for our school.
Our goal is $14,000 – the more we raise the more activities we can provide for our students!
Students will be celebrating their success at a healthy initiative “Fun Run” sponsored by the PTA on November 15th during their specials time! (To see your kids run, volunteer to help out on the 15th)
100% of all donations will enable the PTA to provide funding for activities like: Assemblies, Special Classroom Resources, After school Clubs, Ballroom Dancing, Homework Planners, Reading/Writing Experiences and Incentives
Students can use the pledge sheet and letter to ask friends and family members for donations. Also, ask some of your favorite local businesses to be a Business Sponsor with the Business Sponsor form.
PGE is celebrating 50 years of exceptional education since opening its doors in 1969! The school and PTA are planning a PINE GROOVY week of activities to celebrate!
October 1 - 4 will be a very special Spirit Week with fun 50th-themed activities each day. On Friday, October 4 the week ends with 2 fun events: First at 1:45 pm, an aerial drone photo and video will be taken of the PGE students forming 5-0 on the school ball field! The photo is generously provided by The Tim Kenney Group at Cummings and Co. Realtors www.TimKenneyGroup.com. Then in the evening of October 4, from 5:30 - 8:00 pm, you are invited to an Open House where current and former PGE families, staff, alumni, and community members can reunite and share their most loved PGE memories! Spread the word!

PGE PTA is offering Hershey Park tickets at HUGE discounted prices for the 2019 spring/summer season. Save 35% - 49% off prices if purchased at the park. Tickets can be used any date you choose between May 3rd and Sept 29th 2019 (dependent on park schedule).

The PTA is hosting a Spirit Day FUNdraiser at Seasons Pizza, 8829 Old Harford Road. The fundraiser will be held Thursday January 17 ALL DAY, 9:30am - 11:00 pm for lunch, dinner or late night snack! Good for Dine-In or Carry-Out. Customers MUST PRESENT FLIER for each order to count towards our donation.
If you work in the area, gather your co-workers for lunch. Or grab dinner for the family in the evening. Send the flier to your family, friends, and neighbors - the more you invite, the more the PTA will earn to use towards fun and educational activities for the school!

The PTA is hosting a breakfast for PGE staff to celebrate the holiday season. The event is Thursday December 20.
